As a multi-faceted musician and singular producer, cornerstone of the Vikings and a true mainstay of the entire Guadeloupian scene, saxophonist Camille “Soprann” Hildevert is an extremely prolific artist. Here he takes to the mic to sing to his “Dear Antilles,” his soprano coasting above it all. With guitarist Guy Jacquet leading, the wizardry of Pierre-Edouard Décimus on bass, this track also benefits from a superb organ solo by Paul Keith… Spiritual jazz!
